Christopher Beese, formerly 4th/7th Royal Dragoon Guards, joined Firqat Forces in January 1982 and served with 1 Company, Mobile Firqat Force as it transitioned from a truck-borne light infantry unit into the Oman Reconnaissance Force. Served as 2 i/c Administration Company, Firqat Force, and as 2 i/c 1 Company MFF on operations on the Jebel Qara, then as 2 i/c 1 Company ORF in Ar Rub Al Khali, MTO ORF as the force re-equipped with 140 Land Rover V8 patrol vehicles, and as Headquarter Company Commander ORF, through its formation; departing August 1987.

Thereafter served with Defence Systems Limited, ArmorGroup International plc, Olive Group and Iqarus Global Health.
