The new facilities of the defence hub at Duqm have been put to good use by the British Royal Navy by providing a complex overhaul for the navy's permanent patrol ship in the Gulf.

We are hosting a talk on Duqm at the Anglo-Omani Society premises in Sackville St on Thursday 23rd of September 2021. The talk by Colonel David Bennett, who was the Defence Hub Duqm Liaison Officer during the early development of the defence hub will commence at 6pm. SAF Association members are invited to attend and have priority allocation of seats until mid August when the talk will be promoted to members of the Anglo-Omani Society.
