Lt Col (retd) Alan John Abbott MBE

With sadness, we have learned that Alan Abbott died peacefully in hospital on 10th October, following a long illness. Colleagues will remember his role and contribution as Intelligence Officer in HQ Dhofar Brigade in the climactic closing stages of the Dhofar conflict.

The funeral will take place on 28th October in Aylesbury (details available on request); meanwhile our thoughts are with his wife Jill.
